Hinterland Adventures offers unique kayaking experiences. We provide a short safety lesson before you get on the water, a visit to the local Cultural Heritage Centre, Sissiboo Landing, a history lesson, filling snacks and lots of fun. Come join us!

For the best possible experience we recommend you bring with you: a hat, sunscreen,sunglasses, a wind and warter repellent jacket (we do experience fog occasionally) and a pair of water shoes / old sneakers or sandals with a back as you will get your feet wet.

If the tide is not right to leave from the Odyssey Center then you will be transported to the launch site to paddle back to the Odyssey Center. At the end of a tour leaving from Odyssey Center you will be picked up and transported back here.

Hinterland rents kayaks, both lake and full expedition models, with all equipment and PFDs by the day and hour. Daily rentals fees: $40.00 for the first day, $25.00 for each day thereafter. Hourly rental fees: $7.00 per hour without a guide and $10.00 per hour with a guide. All prices are in Candian dollars and include tax. We have a small selection of dry packs we rent - please e-mail us for availability and rental fees.
