Hinterland Adventures has a team of knowledgeable, dedicated guides and instructors, assistants and support staff. Our tour leaders have professional leadership training in Outdoor Leadership Development - including provincial certification in Wilderness Navigation, Survival, Emergency Procedures and Remote Wilderness First Aid. They also have CPR and Saint John Ambulance Wilderness First Aid.

Hinterland Adventures & Gear has our own Canada kayaking and canoeing tours of Nova Scotia, guides with solid trustworthy paddling background, plenty of personality to keep you entertianed, a deep knowledge of the history of the area and they try to answer most any question you ask.

In addition to the kayaing tours Hinterland offers, we have a selection of Wilderness Canoe Tours in the protected Tobeatic Wilderness Area. The highlight of these tours is the 300+ year old growth forest on an island in Sporting Lake. We can customize both kayak and canoe tours to fit your schedule.
