Hinterland Adventures has a team of knowledgeable, dedicated guides and instructors, assistants and support staff. Our tour leaders have professional leadership training in Outdoor Leadership Development - including provincial certification in Wilderness Navigation, Survival, Emergency Procedures and Remote Wilderness First Aid. They also have CPR and Saint John Ambulance Wilderness First Aid.

Hinterland Adventures & Gear has our own Canada kayaking and canoeing tours of Nova Scotia, guides with solid trustworthy paddling background, plenty of personality to keep you entertianed, a deep knowledge of the history of the area and they try to answer most any question you ask.

In addition to the kayaing tours Hinterland offers, we have a selection of Wilderness Canoe Tours in the protected Tobeatic Wilderness Area. The highlight of these tours is the 300 year old growth forest on an island in Sporting Lake. We can customize both kayak and canoe tours to fit your schedule.
